2022 Wagoneer
For the 2022 model year, we are welcoming the new Wagoneer! This impressive full-size SUV has three rows of seats, an upscale cabin with luxury features, and an off-road package so you can confidently take it over some rough terrain. There's lots of tech in the new Wagoneer's cabin, including the innovative option for a touch screen that sits right in front of the front-seat passenger. Take a look at the 2022 Wagoneer.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The Series II is the entry-level model. It comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, power-adjustable and heated side exterior mirrors, a power liftgate, and LED headlights and taillights. The Series II Premium has 22-inch wheels and the option for a panoramic sunroof. You can step up to the Series III Off-Road for 20-inch alloy wheels, all-terrain tires, chrome tow hooks, and skid plates, and this trim also adds a two-speed transfer case and a rear load-leveling suspension. The Series III Premium has all the features of the Series II Premium and adds power-deployable side steps, a tri-pane sunroof, and 22-inch alloy wheels.
Engine (Power)
All the Wagoneer trims and models get power from a 5.7-liter V-8 gas engine that works with a mild-hybrid eTorque system. The engine generates 392 horsepower and will get 404 pound-feet of torque, and it uses an eight-speed automatic transmission. The eTorque system deactivates cylinders during acceleration to save fuel and adds extra horsepower and torque.
Performance
Available for the Wagoneer, is either rear-wheel drive, or a choice of four-wheel-drive systems. The most capable is the Quadra-Drive II system with a two-speed transfer case and a rear electronic limited-slip differential. You can also get the Quadra-Lift air suspension, which can add up to 3.6 inches of ground clearance.
Interior
The Wagoneer's standard cabin configuration has room for eight, but you can opt for second-row captain's chairs, which reduces seating to seven. The cabin is spacious and upscale with Nappa leather on the seats in the base trim, a two-spoke steering wheel, and 12-way power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated front seats. Moving up through the lineup gets you heated second-row seats and tri-zone automatic climate control.
There is no shortage of tech features in the Wagoneer. It comes with a 10.1-inch touch screen in the center of the dash with Uconnect 5, satellite radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and TomTom navigation. A rear-seat entertainment package with two 10.1-inch screens is an option, and you can also get Amazon Fire TV for auto, a 19-speaker McIntosh stereo system, and a touch screen for the front passenger.
Safety Features
You can feel safe on the road with the loaded Wagoneer with active and passive safety systems. It comes standard with adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, rear cross-path detection, a blind-spot monitor, forward-collision warning, and lane-departure alert with lane-keeping assist. You can add rear parking sensors, traffic sign recognition, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and the ParkSense Automated parking system. Some new safety features available include intersection-collision assist and a night vision camera system.
